Community Support
Community Support members are the frontline responders to player inquiries, concerns, and issues on MCOasis. They provide assistance, guidance, and troubleshooting to players facing technical difficulties, gameplay challenges, or other problems. With their dedication and patience, Community Support members ensure that all players feel heard, valued, and supported, contributing to a positive and enjoyable gaming experience for everyone. This is currently not a paid staff position and you would be helping MCOasis for free.
What are the primary responsibilities of a community support team member?
Community Support Team members assist players with issues, ensure adherence to server rules, and optionally help moderate discussions.
How do community support team members handle conflicts between players?
Handling conflicts between players requires specific skills, including listening to all parties involved and minimizing personal bias.
Is there a probationary period for new members of the Support Team?
Yes, the probationary period typically lasts a week but can be longer or shorter depending on the case.
How are members of the Support Team selected and evaluated?
We select and evaluate Support Team members based on skills such as communication, problem-solving, patience, and familiarity with the MCOasis community.
What kind of training or orientation is provided for new Support Team members?
While there is no formal training program at MCOasis, existing Support Team members will help train new members in the necessary tasks.
Can members of the Support Team still participate in events?
Yes, the Support Team is primarily there to answer questions from the community, and they can still participate in events.
What are the time commitments for Support Team members?
While there is no strict requirement for how much time you should contribute, we recommend being available as much as possible, especially during high-demand times, such as events.
